Therapy That Feels Like Home

Therapy That
Feels Like Home ☀️

At Happy Haven ABA, we believe the very best learning happens where your child feels safest, happiest, and most themselves — right in your own home.

Our in-home ABA therapy brings board-certified expertise, endless patience, and playful energy straight to your living room, backyard, or kitchen table. No stressful commutes, no waiting rooms, no forcing your child into an unfamiliar space. Instead, we meet them exactly where they are — literally and developmentally — and turn everyday moments into powerful opportunities for growth.

Why Families Love Our In-Home Program

Comfort = Faster Progress

Children learn best when they feel safe and relaxed. Familiar surroundings, favorite items, and predictable routines mean calmer sessions, fewer frustrations, and more meaningful breakthroughs every day.

Real-Life Skill Building

We teach essential skills in the exact environments where your child uses them — at your table, in your routines, and during daily moments that
naturally support growth.

Flexible Scheduling

Therapy fits your family’s routine. Morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend — we adjust to school, naps, work hours, and daily rhythms to keep sessions consistent and stress-free.

Frequently Asked Questions

A trained therapist visits your home and provides structured, play-based learning tailored to your child’s needs. Sessions are designed to build meaningful skills and reduce behaviors that interfere with daily life.

 In-Home ABA is effective for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Early intervention — ideally as soon as possible — tends to yield the best outcomes, but therapy can be adapted for a wide range of ages and needs.

The first session includes an assessment of your child’s strengths, challenges, and environment. The therapist may introduce some simple, engaging activities and familiarize your child with the process. Parents/caregivers will also receive guidance on how to support learning at home.

Parents are encouraged to observe, participate, and reinforce skills learned during therapy. You might use visual schedules, positive reinforcement (praise, rewards), and routines to support the progress made in sessions. Consistency at home greatly enhances results.

A calm, quiet, and distraction-free area is ideal. We’ll help you set up a therapy-friendly space that’s comfortable and safe. Simple things like mats, sensory-friendly toys, visual supports (like picture schedules), or a dedicated table area can make sessions more effective.
